Stuff Happened

It's been almost 3 months since my last journal entry.  It's difficult to sum up all the events that have occurred over the last several months.  But I will attempt to do so, anyway. I bought a motor bike for 1900 RMB and since then, things have been going wrong left and right.  Much of it might have to do with the way I drive and take risks in China.  For instance, 2 months ago, I started hitting giant potholes with my bike to get some air.  Today, I drove down some dirt roads just outside of Zhengzhou (in places where white people usually don't go to) and last week, while exploring the countryside, I caught my tires in some muddy area and

It's amazing how a change of location can change a person's perspective.  In China, I feel independent.  I make my own purchases and take care of myself.  And I make a comfortable amount of money for very little work.  With that free time, I've been working out, exploring the city and watching television shows that I didn't have time or the resources to watch in the past. Tomorrow, I will be buying a motor bike.  The cost is 1899 RMB (approximately 300 bucks).  I'm pretty stoked about it, but if it rains tomorrow, I won't be buying it for safety reasons.  It's too dangerous to ride a motor bike in China in the rain.  So cross your fingers.

This sort of indecisive nature has plagued me my whole life.  Occasionally I do make drastic decisions, like when I first chose to go to South Korea or when I gave up Christianity.  But these weren't methodical, well planned or thought out.  Most of the decisions in my life stem from my penchant for extreme action and reaction. I'm moving back to China in a few months.  But why?  Why am I doing this? Though my choices aren't generally methodical, don't count out my abilities to deduce and break things into their parts and reasoning.  I made this choice like I've made all others: by being extreme.  But trust me when I say that I know exactly

Happy Birthday! :boogie:  :boogie: :cake:  :pepsi:
Thank you, David!
Miss you. I've been kinda... ghostly.
Hi!
OH MY GOD! A ghost!!!

No, but seriously, how've you been?
Happy Birthday; may you be blessed with a good year filled with fine friends, happy times, and fond memories.

May your skies be clear, your animals friendly, your water pure, and your food tasty; may your air be clean, your bed soft, and your house filled with joy; may your nights be cool and your days warm; may your family be joyous and honorable, and may you live a long, full, and happy life.

This is a Jewish blessing, guaranteed to come true or your money back.
Excellent! And oh look... manna is pouring from the skies as we speak!
